Japanese store haul (except the rabbit socks, which my mom got me ahaha). My Jap store actually has a little sushi restaurant extension but they sell pre-made food daily. Their california rolls are yummy.

Snow… Hate snow….

So I saw this Daisy Do-It-Yourself kit thing at Target for like $3 and had to get. Let’s hope this baby grows soon.

This is my 4th and “simple” styled scrapbook, which I keep my ordinary daily life photos. I used a Polaroid Pogo to print the photos out and used white paper as a border. I journal in it too, just for memory’s sake.

End of November [112112]

Brat was sleeping while we were all decorating my sister’s Christmas tree on Thanksgiving Day.

Bit obsessed with tea/coffee right now. Couldn’t resist the hand-made stationary made in Nepal & the Merry Cookie three-wick candle from Bath&Body Works. SMELLS SO GOOD.

Finally got my new stationary in the mail the other day! I will not use these until I finish the ones I already have, haha. But I also got a cute pin and Sentimental Circus Calendar as a free gift. ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

Totoros & Polaroids

He’s actually a phone holder but I improvise (I do that a lot) and use him as my “favorite pencils/pens/erasers” holder.

My Fujifilm Instax Mini Polaroid version 25. POLAROIDS. ARE. SO. ADDICTING. Okay, so only 10 films are allowed in the camera at once and omg. I couldn’t stop shooting, I had to stop myself and force the camera down when I hit the 8th picture. Which means there’s only 3 more films left in the camera (there’s a little number count on the back that tells you how much you have left.)

The Totoro bag I splurged on for my Polaroid. I need to protect my camera so how else but a cute bag I suppose?

My first polaroid album, it has fewer pages than I originally thought. The plastic on the front is to hold a ‘special’ polaroid, so I have to take a nice one to put it there. I might have to buy more albums in the future, they’re so cute and small.

The first page. You guys won’t believe how many takes it took to get a decent looking selca. Thankfully my cam version has a little mirror on the front where it reflects exactly what you’re shooting at. I bet it’d be harder for the peeps who have the 300s or 7s. «

* And no, I did not throw away my ugly selcas. What a waste of film! I put them throughout the binder so there’s no consistency or whatnot. *

12-19-11: Presents Galore

There was a Christmas party last night that I wasn’t prepared for. So I had to wake up at 8AM in the morning to finish gift-wrapping and present-making before work. LOL.

First off, there’s the presents I bought for my dog (Pudding) and my sister’s pup (Bonnie).

I LOVE SHOPPING FOR DOGGIES. Like seriously! They have so much cute things, augh. The picture only shows half. There’s like holiday cookies for dogs, bones, toys, etc. But Pudding was bothering that green elf toy so I just snapped a pic of it.

Next is this:

On Facebook, there’s an event for December called “Pokemon Profile Month”. So most of my friends joined and their profile pictures have a certain pokemon. I used that to my advantage and drew my friends with them. I thought it was a cute idea, but as I was inking the drawings… I realized how ridiculous I was. LOL.

Finished presents, all wrapped up and/or put in gift bags. I put the dogs’ presents in the giftbags with the dog and reindeer on them.
I actually drew 8 of those Pokemon portraits. I regret not picturing the others. But my friends really liked them, including the cookie keychains I made from a past post: http://kriista.tumblr.com/post/12970159276

Alright, now the highlight of my night. My friends and I had a Secret Santa event this year so that it would be easy on our wallets and whatnot (max was $20 to be spent and $15 minimum). The event went really damn well. Everyone got what they wanted, including me. I was kinda worried with my gift and while I was opening it infront of everyone, I was nervous. But look!

It’s a Totoro plushie! Well, actually it’s one of those ornaments where you put the sucker thing on a mirror/glass and it sticks. But whatever! It’s Totoro, I freaking love Totoro. And he’s holding a little bag with acorns in it! <33
He’s going to be chilling on my bookcase I think. hoho.

Damn - I should’ve took pictures at the party since there was some memorable moments, but didn’t have time to pack my camera since I was kinda late for work. BOO.
