Easter Weekend ft. Pudding

So we had the usual family gathering at the park to cook BBQ and hide easter eggs for my nieces to find. Pudding helped out and found some (with my guidance):

But then he found this rat hole and would NOT stop digging. Bonnie had to interfere a couple of times. She literally put herself over the hole hahaha. Still didn’t work so I had to draw him away.

He’s so cute though, I love him. :3

Mid-March; [032112]

My friend taught me how to crochet a little bit so I went out and bought my own yarn to practice with.

Thanks to Alex for the baggie and button ~ I had to use it to carry around some stickers for my planner. I SERIOUSLY NEED MORE K-POP STUFF IN MY LIFEEE.

Okay I am not joking when I say that I love shopping for Pudding more than myself. His reaction when I bring something home for him is so cute. Btw … *cough* The dragon and frog look a bit inappropriate. Dry humping, anyone?

This is still in the sketch-stage. I keep finding stuff wrong with it so I need to re-do some parts again before I start to shade. Augh, why so complicating.

This is all the way back from last year - It’s of Alex’s and Twin’s Christmas presents. Haha, Tina finally got her presents yesterday so I can post this now, yay! That Totoro keychain was hard to make. I think I can make a better one now, but I do like that Paopu star thing. It’s pretty much our ‘symbol’, I had to add it. XD

Dyed and cut my hair last weekend. I actually used blonde hair dye (bleach), but there was still some dark dye in my hair from last year so the color came out like this instead. LOLIt’s Pudding’s birthday today! He’s turning 4. 8D

Happy New Year [2012]!

Don’t have work today so I’m trying to be productive by working on art and crafts. :D

It was snowing the other day and I woke up to this: Pudding looking out the back door, watching the snow fall. If you look closely, you can see the snowflakes against the pine trees. haha he’s cute sometimes.
It’s snowing right now too and holy flying fuck, IT’S FREEZING.

So for Christmas, I got this stuffed bear… because my brother-in-law didn’t know what to get everyone. He got bears for everyone in the fam. LOL.

He’s chilling on the top of my bookcase now because Pudding keeps trying to pull him down from my treasure chest.

Snapshots of the Christmas tree at my sister’s place -

There’s alot of handmade stuff on the tree because my nieces like colorful things, apparently.

Last but not least: Guess what my first purchase of 2012 is?

THAT’S RIGHT. A travel book to Seoul, Korea. What does this mean? hohoho, well my sister and I have this tradition now.. of travelling to places every year. We’ve been talking about Korea and we’re trying to fit it into our schedule during the first week of October. It depends though, on my priorities and my cash at the time. I’ve been travelling too much lately, it’s hard to save up. DX

But I was skimming through this book and I already picked out places I want to go to. This fabric store for one; You can request custom-made hanboks. I used to have one when I was a kid but I don’t know what happened to it. It’ll be expensive I’m sure, but probably worth it.
And then some night clubs. I’ll be legal in Korea so fuck yea - clubs are a must-go. >D

12-19-11: Presents Galore

There was a Christmas party last night that I wasn’t prepared for. So I had to wake up at 8AM in the morning to finish gift-wrapping and present-making before work. LOL.

First off, there’s the presents I bought for my dog (Pudding) and my sister’s pup (Bonnie).

I LOVE SHOPPING FOR DOGGIES. Like seriously! They have so much cute things, augh. The picture only shows half. There’s like holiday cookies for dogs, bones, toys, etc. But Pudding was bothering that green elf toy so I just snapped a pic of it.

Next is this:

On Facebook, there’s an event for December called “Pokemon Profile Month”. So most of my friends joined and their profile pictures have a certain pokemon. I used that to my advantage and drew my friends with them. I thought it was a cute idea, but as I was inking the drawings… I realized how ridiculous I was. LOL.

Finished presents, all wrapped up and/or put in gift bags. I put the dogs’ presents in the giftbags with the dog and reindeer on them.
I actually drew 8 of those Pokemon portraits. I regret not picturing the others. But my friends really liked them, including the cookie keychains I made from a past post: http://kriista.tumblr.com/post/12970159276

Alright, now the highlight of my night. My friends and I had a Secret Santa event this year so that it would be easy on our wallets and whatnot (max was $20 to be spent and $15 minimum). The event went really damn well. Everyone got what they wanted, including me. I was kinda worried with my gift and while I was opening it infront of everyone, I was nervous. But look!

It’s a Totoro plushie! Well, actually it’s one of those ornaments where you put the sucker thing on a mirror/glass and it sticks. But whatever! It’s Totoro, I freaking love Totoro. And he’s holding a little bag with acorns in it! <33
He’s going to be chilling on my bookcase I think. hoho.

Damn - I should’ve took pictures at the party since there was some memorable moments, but didn’t have time to pack my camera since I was kinda late for work. BOO.
